Officers from the Scottish Fire & Rescue Fire Investigation Unit joined Police Scotland and Forensic Services officers at the Waverley Hotel in Perth this morning as they started the investigation into the fire at the hotel on Tuesday 17th November 2015. The hotel which has been empty for a number of years was bought by Stagecoach tycoon Ann Gloag in 2011 who wantied to develop the site into a gym and church hall for the neighbouring Trinity Church of the Nazarene.
