Bronze Age Log Boat in River Tay, Perthshire...28.07.06
Archaeologists Dr Theo Skinner (left) from the National Museums of Scotland and David Strachan from Perth & Kinross Heritage Trust. The boat has been carbon dated to about 1000 BC, the late bronze age. Once the 30 ft long boat made from a single oak tree has been recovered it will be transported to the National Museum of Scotland where it will be conserved.
