The Black Watch statue leaves Powderhall Foundry where it was made by sculpture Alan Herriot who was commissioned by the Black Watch Association to make the statue for Black Watch Corner near the village of Zonnebeke in Belgium to mark the pivotal battle of Polygon Wood in 1914. Pictured with the statue is Lance Corporal Arron Kelly (21) a serving Black Watch Soldier dressed in period costume and piper Ruaraidh Proctor
