  • The Balck Watch Memorial in Aberfeldy, Perthshire.  The memorial was unveiled on the 14th November 1887 by Gavin - Marquis of Breadalbane. The monument depicting a soldier wearing the old regiemntal uniform cost £500 and should have been situated ont he opposite side of the river the site of the original muster, but the site is prone to flooding. In 1910 lightning split the structure from top to bottom.<br />
